Te Tai Whakaea – The Raukawa Treaty Settlement Journey chronicles the experiences of the iwi of Raukawa in the central North Island in the settlement of their historical treaty claims.
It highlights the negotiations between Raukawa and the Crown and how the iwi achieved settlement, the settlement process and the many difficulties the iwi faced and how they were overcome. This is explored and recounted in the voices of those who were intimately involved in the settlement process.
